The Marin County Elections Department is alerting voters about an error on printed ballots that went out to approximately 80 military and overseas voters.
Measure G, a proposed tax measure for residents within the Novato Unified School District, had a blank space next to the first oval under the measure text. That blank space is supposed to have the word “YES” next to the oval.
The department has re-sent a corrected ballot to affected voters. The error does not appear on the official ballot for domestic voters.
To request an updated sample ballot, people can contact Marin Elections at (415) 473-6456 during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
