CleanPowerSF is celebrating its 10-year anniversary by launching a new incentive program aimed at helping residents switch to electric home appliances and lower their energy bills, the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission announced.

The program, called Electrify Your Home, offers bill credits to customers who replace gas-powered appliances with electric alternatives, including clothes dryers, heat pump water heaters, heating and cooling systems, and stoves, the commission said.

Credits range from $150 for electric stoves to $1,200 for heat pump systems, with additional incentives available for income-qualified households, per the press release issued Friday.

Credits will be applied directly to customers’ electric bills in increments of up to $50 per month until the full amount is reached, commission officials said.
