Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo introduced a pair of three-month-old white Bengal tiger cubs named Baldr and Nalani to the public on Saturday.
Baldr, whose name means son of Odin, is 42 pounds, while Nalani, which means calm skies in Hindi, weighs 48 pounds, Six Flags spokesman Marc Merino said.
Their rare white coats are due to a lack of pigmentation, a genetic mutation found in about one in 10,000 births, according to the International Fund for Animal Welfare.
The public had the opportunity to vote on the cubs’ names, according to the park.
