The Pacifica City Council has appointed Sean Charpentier as the next city manager following a formal recruitment process, according to city officials.
Charpentier, who has more than 20 years of local government experience, will begin the role on May 4, according to city officials. He most recently served as executive director of the City/County Association of Governments of San Mateo County. He previously worked as an assistant and interim city manager for the city of East Palo Alto.
