Alameda County officials are encouraging residents of District 3 to apply for seats on a wide range of county boards, commissions and committees, offering what they describe as a hands-on way to shape local policy and represent community voices.
The call for applicants includes openings or expiring terms in 2026 on bodies that advise on issues such as parks, public health, consumer affairs, human relations, arts, transportation and poverty reduction. County officials said civic boards play a key role in county decision-making and help guide policies that affect daily life across the region.
