The Solano County Sheriff’s Office has begun providing extra patrols in Vallejo to help ease staffing shortages at the city’s Police Department.
Sheriff’s deputies began assisting the Vallejo Police Department on Wednesday with patrols in East and South Vallejo, police said. The added support will run Wednesdays through Saturdays from 2 p.m. to midnight and is scheduled to continue through the end of 2026.
