Vanderbilt University to open campus in SF

VANDERBILT UNIVERSITY will be putting its anchor down in San Francisco next year, Mayor Daniel Lurie announced at City Hall.

Vanderbilt University Chancellor Daniel Diermeier joined Lurie in making remarks about plans Tuesday to extend the Tennessee-based university’s footprint by acquiring the buildings and facilities from the California College of the Arts, a school closing in 2027 after years of financial difficulties.
