The Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors has selected Supervisor Diane Burgis to serve as the new board chair.

The board at Tuesday’s meeting also chose Supervisor Ken Carlson to assume the role of vice chair. The chair and vice chair roles typically rotate annually, with the chair presiding over board meetings.
