The Mendocino College Foundation is currently accepting scholarship applications for the school’s 2026 academic year. The scholarships, which include $200,000 in awards for graduating high school seniors, incoming students, and current students, are available until March 1, 2026.

The Mendocino College Foundation is a nonprofit corporation established by the college to raise funds for students in need. The foundation is made up of volunteers from the local community.

The scholarship application, available online, consists of a single universal form with four short essay questions.

“Scholarships play a crucial role in helping local students stay on track academically while living and working in Mendocino and Lake counties,” Mendocino College said. “Though community college tuition is relatively affordable, many students still face housing, food and transportation challenges.”

The Mendocino College Foundation will hold Zoom workshops every Friday from Jan. 9 through Feb. 27 to help students complete their applications. Students can view the schedule online or email the college to schedule a one-on-one appointment.
