Teamsters Local 2010, a union representing 1,100 workers within the Cal State University system, has voted to authorize a statewide strike — a move the union may choose to act on if its concerns aren’t addressed.
Ninety-four percent of members voted to authorize the strike following months of alleged unfair labor practices. According to a media release issued Monday, the system has failed to pay raises and salary increases guaranteed under its contract.
