The Ukiah City Council has appointed a new mayor and vice mayor at its meeting last week.
The City Council appointed Vice Mayor Susan Sher as mayor and Councilmember Juan Orozco as vice mayor. The incoming mayor and vice mayor will officially begin their terms on Dec. 17.
