Eleven people were hurt in an East Oakland crash that sent an Alameda-Contra Costa Transit bus careening into an auto body shop Tuesday afternoon, according to AC Transit officials.
At about 1:15 p.m., an AC Transit bus carrying eight passengers and one driver was going through the intersection at Foothill Boulevard and 68th Avenue when it collided with a small SUV, according to agency spokesperson Robert Lyles.
