A man who claimed his company made billions in profit from advanced robotics and space travel technology will serve more than four years in prison for defrauding investors — mostly veterans, their families and friends, federal prosecutors said.
Ramesh Kris Nathan, 43, was sentenced last week to 51 months behind bars for fraudulently obtaining investors’ money for a company that had no legitimate business activities, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of California said in a news release.
