A 19-year-old University of California at Berkeley student has died after being pulled or climbing out of a pool during an off-campus fraternity party last week, police announced. 

The student was found lying beside the pool at about 11:30 p.m. Friday during a large party in the 2400 block of Prospect Street that more than 300 people were attending, according to Berkeley police.
