Mayor Daniel Lurie recently celebrated the opening of the Oscar James Residences, a new affordable housing development in Bayview-Hunters Point that will provide 112 units for low-income households.

The project, named after longtime community advocate Oscar James, includes two fully electric buildings with environmentally friendly features and amenities such as a fitness center, community room, and landscaped courtyards, a news release noted.
