The City of Vallejo is inviting residents to apply for open seats on several boards, commissions, and committees, giving community members a chance to shape local policies and programs.
Vacancies include the Architectural Heritage and Landmarks Commission, Code Enforcement Appeals Board, Commission on Culture and the Arts, Design Review Board, Housing Authority, Marina Advisory Committee, Participatory Budgeting Steering Committee, Measure P Oversight Committee, and the Greater Vallejo Recreation District Board, according to city officials.
Most appointments are four-year terms and require applicants to be Vallejo residents, the city said in a news release.
Newly appointed members must file financial disclosure forms and complete state-required ethics training. Applications are due by 5 p.m. Oct. 20.
Forms and supplemental questionnaires are available on the city’s website, at City Hall or by contacting the City Clerk’s Office by email or at (707) 648-4527.
