The case against a teenager accused of shooting San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Ricky Pearsall last year will remain in juvenile court, a superior court judge ruled, over the objections of prosecutors. 

Pearsall was shopping in San Francisco’s Union Square on the afternoon of Aug. 31, 2024, when he was shot in the chest during an attempted robbery, police said.
