Bay Area transit agencies say bye-bye-bye to uncoordinated transfers, look to get in sync

EASIER TRANSFERS AND CHANGES to schedules beginning Sunday is music to the ears of Bay Area travelers after a coordinated effort between bus and rail public transit operators results in the Big Sync initiative.

Across the Bay Area’s nine counties, transportation agencies are rolling out new coordinated changes to their schedules, dubbed the Big Sync, that they hope will allow for smoother transfers between services for more passengers.
