The City of Vallejo is ramping up efforts to address rodent activity along its waterfront and downtown areas, partnering with pest control professionals to carry out aggressive abatement measures, officials announced on Friday.
“We’re confident that our approach is working and the community will see those benefits,” said Assistant City Manager Nalungo Conley. “This is a coordinated effort, and we’re committed to keeping the momentum going.”
City crews have been conducting daily mitigation work and will continue monitoring and reporting progress, officials said.
Officials praised the Public Works teams for their consistent early morning efforts, which are already making a visible difference.
The city encourages residents to report concerns as it continues its push for long-term pest control solutions.
