Union City waste sites close as labor strike continues, directs residents to Fremont facility

Two drop-off sites in Union City that opened to help households dispose of waste amid an ongoing labor strike that has disrupted collections are now closed, the city said.

Drop-off locations at the Union City BART station parking lot #1, 11th Street and Decoto Road, and the Mark Green Sports Center, 31224 Union City Blvd., closed Monday afternoon.
