The City of Santa Clara announced that pavement restoration work will begin July 14 along Great America Parkway and Mission College Boulevard as part of a scheduled improvement project.

O’Grady Paving Inc., the city’s contractor, will focus on repairing localized pavement failures between Patrick Henry Drive and Highway 101, and along Mission College Boulevard between the college entrance and the Marriott Hotel entrance, city officials said.

To reduce traffic disruptions, all construction will take place overnight from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. No full road closures are expected, though multiple lanes will be closed during work hours.

The first phase of the project is scheduled to be completed by July 23.
