San Mateo County will open a multi-agency center that will provide resources for victims of interpersonal violence under one roof, the county District Attorney’s Office announced.
The Family Justice Center will have services for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, elder abuse and human trafficking. Integrating these resources at a centralized location helps increase efficiency, access to services, and reduce the number of times survivors have to retell their stories, according to the District Attorney’s Office.
