The Golden State Warriors are hosting Game 4 of their National Basketball Association playoff series against the Minnesota Timberwolves in San Francisco on Monday and fans unable to buy tickets to get into Chase Center for the game can watch it at the plaza outside of the arena.
The Warriors are losing 2-1 in the best-of-7 Western Conference semifinal series against Minnesota after losing star Stephen Curry to an injured hamstring in Game 1 of the series. Monday’s 7 p.m. game could be the final home game in San Francisco this season for the Warriors unless they win Game 4 or Wednesday’s Game 5 in Minnesota.
A free watch party for the game is taking place Monday at Thrive City, the plaza outside of Chase Center in San Francisco’s Mission Bay neighborhood. No registration is required in advance to come to the plaza, which will have the game streaming on its large video screen.
Doors open at the arena at 5:30 p.m., with the cheapest ticket on Ticketmaster’s resale market costing more than $175 as of late Sunday night.
More information about the watch party can be found on Chase Center’s website.
