The City of Santa Clara is seeking community members to serve on a committee overseeing the use of funds from the $400 million infrastructure bond approved by voters in November 2024, officials announced.
Applications are due by 5 p.m. on Tuesday.
According to officials, the committee will ensure accountability, review audits, advise the City Council on potential changes to the bond’s Expenditure Plan, and keep the public informed on spending.
It will include seven Santa Clara residents, one large business representative, and one small business representative, with members selected through a lottery and confirmed by the City Council, the city noted.
Committee members may serve up to two four-year terms and are expected to meet three to four times a year.
