Vallejo highlights updated fire hazard severity zones and wildfire preparedness

The City of Vallejo and the Vallejo Fire Department are informing residents about CAL FIRE’s updated Fire Hazard Severity Zones and their potential impact on the community, officials said. 

The updated zones, developed the CAL FIRE, use the latest scientific data and fire behavior models to identify areas at higher wildfire risk, a press release issued Tuesday noted.
