Pleasant Hill Mayor Sue Noack was unanimously elected new chairperson of the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC), the commission announced this week. 

Noack served as Contra Costa County cities’ representative on the regional board for the past two years. Her term runs until February 2027.
