The Ukiah City Council unanimously approved a resolution last week that will increase fees for new residential or commercial developments to pay for local firefighting services.Â
According to the resolution proposed by the Ukiah Valley Fire Authority, the increased fees will help pay for the city’s fire facilities and new equipment such as emergency vehicles.
