The City of Oakland has expanded its safety camera network with new installations along the Hegenberger Road corridor, a key business district in East Oakland, officials announced last week.Â
The $150,000 investment, funded by the City Council and coordinated by the Economic & Workforce Development Department, aims to enhance security and deter crime.
