Renovations including an off-leash dog play area, a dog-free lawn and other amenities were recently unveiled in San Francisco’s Esprit Park in the city’s Dogpatch neighborhood.

This is the first major makeover for the 43-year-old park, according to officials with the San Francisco Recreation and Park Department. The renovation project aimed to modernize the 2-acre park while preserving the park’s original open and natural atmosphere.
