Thousands of dollars’ worth of tools were stolen from a University of California, Berkeley satellite campus in Richmond over the weekend, days after the property had a costly break-in, according to police.
Between 5 a.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday, UC police were alerted to reports of break-ins at four buildings at Richmond Field Station. Unidentified suspects reportedly stole tools valued around $2,000.
On Thursday, the satellite campus also had its welding machinery stolen. According to police, it was worth $30,000.
No suspects have been identified yet.
