Kids can sock-skate to “Jingle Bells” under a replica moon, make their own snow, quaff hot cocoa and otherwise enjoy Winterfest at Oakland’s Chabot Space & Science Center Dec. 21-22.
Winterfest is an interactive event at the center blending science and seasonal cheer, not to mention giving families a chance to take refuge from the blitzkrieg of shopping on the last weekend before Christmas.
