Atmospheric river may soak parts of Northern California midweek with heavy rain

An atmospheric river may be approaching Northern California, bringing heavy rain, the National Weather Service said.

“Rainfall chances increase beginning Wednesday and last into the weekend as a rather impressive system sets up,” the weather service on Sunday said.
