Golden State Warriors fans attending Tuesday’s game against the Dallas Mavericks at Chase Center in San Francisco will receive captain hats in honor of Klay Thompson, a four-time champion with the Warriors who signed as a free agent with Dallas in the offseason.

Thompson played a main role in the Warriors’ NBA championships in 2015, 2017, 2018 and 2022 and has the sixth-most three-pointers in the league’s history, with his former teammate and still Warrior Stephen Curry the leader all-time.
