Three open seats on the Willits City Council have led to a competitive race. As of Wednesday morning, it’s clear that two former law enforcement officers are likely to win followed by one of the two schoolteachers on the ballot.
Early voting results report incumbent Vice Mayor Gerardo “Gerry” Gonzalez and Tom Allman neck-and-neck with 28.6% and 28.8% of the votes respectively.
