Margaret Abe-Koga has a significant lead over Sally Lieber for the Santa Clara County Supervisor District 5 race.
As of 4:45 p.m. Wednesday, Mountain View Councilmember Abe-Koga has 56.8% of the vote, or 53,829 votes. Lieber, California State Board of Equalization chair, trails with 43.1% of the vote, or 40,893 votes. County voter turnout is at 44.6%% and more than 468,000 votes have been cast.
