Caltrain advisory panel has six openings for representatives of pedestrian, cycling public

Caltrain is looking for commuters to be part of a panel focusing on the interests and perspectives of those who walk, or use bicycles or scooters, to ride the rail line’s system.

The Bicycle and Active Transportation Advisory Committee, or BATAC, has a total of six openings, which are expected be filled by a member of the public and a representative of a bicycle advocacy group from San Francisco, a member of the public and a public agency staff member from San Mateo County, and a representative of a bicycle advocacy group and a public agency staff member from Santa Clara County.

According to Caltrain, BATAC meets in-person every other month in San Carlos.
