Planned controlled vegetation fire Saturday likely to generate smoke around Napa region

If you see smoke in the skies above Napa wine country on Saturday, there’s likely no cause for alarm.

That’s because firefighters will be conducting an 80-acre prescribed burn in south Napa County, according to Cal Fire.
