The pedestrian advocacy group Walk San Francisco has held a vigil following the latest death on the city’s streets.

San Francisco police confirmed a man died after being struck by a vehicle shortly before 8:45 a.m. on Tuesday at the intersection of Stanyan Street and Parnassus Avenue in the city’s Cole Valley/Parnassus Heights neighborhood.
