Starting midnight on Nov. 1, all personnel and visitors in acute care facilities in Santa Cruz County will be required to mask up due to the expected respiratory virus season.
Santa Cruz County Health Officer Dr. Lisa Hernandez said the order includes skilled nursing facilities, surgical and maternity centers, and infusion centers such as dialysis and chemotherapy centers.
