SamTrans’ expanded paratransit options give local riders with disabilities more flexibility

Eligible San Mateo County SamTrans users with disabilities will have increased options starting this week, the agency said.

SamTrans is expanding its same-day paratransit pilot program in San Mateo County. The program’s current two-zone service area is being combined into one, increasing the locations any one user can access. Also, the hours of operation are now 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., instead of ending at 3 p.m., according to the agency.
