Put a ring on it: ‘Doorbell donors’ sought to help ensure seniors receive meal deliveries

Meals on Wheels in Walnut Creek is looking for a few good doorbells.

“Many of our seniors need doorbells, but can’t afford to purchase one, can’t get to the store, or do not have online shopping knowledge,” the nonprofit said in a statement. “Without a doorbell, some seniors are missing their meals because they can’t hear our volunteers at the door.”
