(California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation via Bay City News) Scott Lee Peterson (born October 24, 1972) was convicted in 2004, of the first-degree murder of his wife Laci Peterson and the second-degree murder of their unborn son Conner Peterson.

Convicted murderer Scott Peterson has returned to court virtually last week with the Los Angeles Innocence Project in his effort to be granted a retrial. 

Peterson was convicted in 2004 of killing his wife Laci Peterson and their unborn child Conner Peterson. The victims’ decomposed remains were found in the San Francisco Bay months after pregnant Laci went missing.
