Better take the bus: Six weekends of track repairs to disrupt BART service in Oakland

BART riders may be seeing red, but they won’t be riding on the Red Line — or other colors, for that matter — through much of Oakland this weekend.

Free buses are replacing BART trains between Rockridge, MacArthur, and 19^th Street stations this Saturday and Sunday and five more non-consecutive weekends this year, the transit agency said in a news release.
