Sonoma County’s Board of Supervisors has adopted a budget that increases spending 10 percent to $2.5 billion and adds 43 full-time jobs for a total of 4,502 employees.
The increases included $923,000 to the Department of Emergency Management to add two employees and fund expenses of the Emergency Operations Center. The board also added $834,000 to support justice services, including the Family Justice Center overseen by the district attorney’s office.
