Bill proposed to rename fed building in SF’s Civic Center to honor late Senator Feinstein

A federal building in San Francisco may soon be renamed for Dianne Feinstein, California’s first female senator and the longest-serving woman senator in U.S. history.  

U.S. Sens. Alex Padilla and Laphonza Butler, both D-California, introduced a bill Tuesday to rename the federal office building located at 50 United Nations Plaza the “Senator Dianne Feinstein Federal Building.”
