Two baby peregrine falcons that fell from their nests in San Jose and San Mateo County were taken to animal welfare specialists for medical examination and care, the Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA said.

One of the chicks that belongs to the San Jose City Hall falcon family fell from a ledge on Friday and was rescued from a building alcove, according to the humane society.
