A midweek heat wave is predicted for the inland Bay Area, and the San Francisco Department of Emergency Management has tips for staying cool in the heat.

Temperatures for interior areas are likely to reach into the mid to upper 90s and even the low 100s for a few hot spots primarily along the Bay Area’s eastern border, closer to the Central Valley, according to the National Weather Service Bay Area.
