Garage sale on wheels rolls into Fairfield this Saturday with biannual ‘Junk in the Trunk’

In what has to be the wittiest garage sale title in the history of the world, Fairfield Parks and Recreation will host its biannual “Junk in the Trunk” community sale Saturday.

The event will take place in the Laurel Creek Community Park parking lot at 2986 Gulf Drive from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. For once, the word “literally” is appropriate: Participants do indeed sell items from their cars’ trunks.
