East Bay political influencers killed in crash, advocated for candidates and LGBTQ rights

Two prominent East Bay political figures are being remembered this week after they died Friday when the pickup they were in collided with a car in rural San Diego County.

Hope Wood and her wife Peggy Moore were killed, along with the 60-year-old man driving the Jeep pickup when it collided with a Chrysler sedan at about 11:15 p.m.
