A federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit against the San Francisco City Attorney’s Office brought by U.S. News and World Report regarding a consumer protection investigation into the company’s hospital ranking system, City Attorney David Chiu said.  

Judge William Orrick of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California rejected U.S. News’ request for a preliminary injunction and dismissed all claims against Chiu’s office.
